Perth & Kinross Junior Boys’ (under 16) volleyball team made the long Sunday trip to Oban to play their second round of Junior National League fixtures. The boys opened against Cavalry Park NUVOC from Edinburgh and although they competed well they lost out by three sets to love.

In their second fixture they met the newly formed local side Lorn and this turned out to be a very exciting match. The Perth & Kinross boys dominated the first set, winning 25-15. The second set saw the Oban boys come more into the game and they came from behind to level the match with a 25-23 score. The third set decider was also close but the visitors managed to scrape through 17-15 for a very close win.
