Perth & Kinross Juniors were in action on Sunday with two under 18 boys’ fixtures against City of Edinburgh and Cavalry Park NUVOC.
The opening fixture against last season’s league and cup winners, City of Edinburgh saw a cracking first set which the P & K boys were unlucky to lose 22-25. This knocked the stuffing out of the youngsters and they crashed 12-25; 6-15 in the remaining two sets. In their other fixture against NUVOC, the boys got back to winning ways taking the first two sets 25-20 and 25-23 before losing out in the third set 15-17, stopping them gaining maximum points. So after four games the local lads have won two and lost two.
