Competitive volleyball returned to Bell’s Sports Centre for the first fixtures of the new season in the shape of the Recreational League Cup qualifiers. There were four sections of three teams with the top two teams from each section meeting in next Sunday’s play-offs.

John Ross’s Motley Crew moved closer to sealing this season’s Recreational Volleyball League Championship Shield after Sunday evening’s penultimate round of fixtures at Bell’s Sports Centre.

Sunday evening saw the final round of Premier Volleyball League fixtures of the season at Bell’s Sports Centre. Although the league championship had already been decided it was an interesting evening’s volleyball.

Perth & District’s Premier League teams met at Bell’s Sports Centre on Sunday evening for their first games of 2016 with a bit of rust having to be shifted after a month of no volleyball.
Premier League teams met at Bell’s Sports Centre on Sunday evening for their final round of fixtures of 2015 and it was Craig Donaldson’s Kinross Scotrange who maintained their 100% record dumping Graeme McIntyre’s Dunfermline and Gregor Walker’s Dodgy Spikers to finish the year on top of the table.
Sunday’s Recreational League Volleyball saw everything change at the top of the table with some very close games leaving Ian McGrath’s Motley Crew as the only team with a one hundred per cent record closely followed by a “pack” of teams waiting for them to slip up.
