Congratulations to Perth PLUS Mental Health who retained the Recreational Spring Cup with victory over Giggling Bricks in the final. They add this to the Recreational League title which they won in February having lost only 1 set throughout the entire season.
Sunday evening saw the final round of Recreational League fixtures in the Perth & Kinross District Volleyball League with Glenrothes based Brian Hutton’s PLUS Perth Mental Health team coming out on top ahead of Carole Hardy’s Dunfermline Phoenix.
With Perth’s Seain Cook over in Cyprus this weekend with the Scottish men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Australia, it is back indoors for the local sides as this Sunday sees the Recreational League Cup take place at Bell’s Sports Centre.

The Recreational League Cup drew to a conclusion at Bell’s Sports Centre on Sunday evening and oh how close things were with a number of games.
Competitive volleyball returned to Bell’s Sports Centre for the first fixtures of the new season in the shape of the Recreational League Cup qualifiers. There were four sections of three teams with the top two teams from each section meeting in next Sunday’s play-offs.
